How To Create A Free Trial In Infusionsoft
Ever wondered how to create a free trial in Infusionsoft?
Well, today you’re in luck.
In today’s video, I want to show you how to create a free trial in Infusionsoft.
A free, seven-day trial would look great for a product you wanted to offer.
The beauty of offering a free trial in Infusionsoft is that when they sign up for the trial they are entering their credit card details and unless they cancel before the end of the period they will be automatically charged.
Subscription products allow us to offer a trial. People have to edit their credit card details. You won’t actually be charged for seven days, probably audit, so you know, whatever. We didn’t want to decide after the seven days and that will be an ongoing subscription product, in this case, so hold on.
What we’re going to do is we’re going to go to Promotions.
I’m going to add a subscription-free trial.
You need to pick a product.
I’ve created already created my product, which is a special free trial product; seven days. If you can name this whatever you want?
We’ve got to find our Subscription product. I’m going to choose that. I’m going to offer a free seven-day trial.
Now we’re going to go to our order form. We want to, let’s see, I think I’ve created an order form down here somewhere, there we go, which removes that product first.
Let’s search for our products in the Infusionsoft E-Commerce section. It was a special product. I won’t have it as the subscription version and we’re going to save that. Now if you go to “Links,” we open up underneath Incognito window and see, we get the seven-days free but it’s a $100 a month. That’s how we would create the product.
Make It Easy For Your Customers To Say “YES”
Steps are, really: we want to create a product, a subscription product, then we’ll want to create a promotion, and then we want to add that product to an order form there will be going. If you wanted then to use this in a specific campaign, for example, if you came to the campaign, it’s going to use a test campaign here.
Let’s say we got our product here. I’m going to use the special product and which you’re going to do a monthly subscription.
If we were using this as a promotion, on-boarding, you might want to, say, one or two emails in the Campaign Builder.
I’m not going to particularly do them, but we might want to add, say an email on after five days or something like that, which says five to seven days after they start will be a reminder that you’re going to get charged. Let’s say charged tomorrow.
That would just send the reminder to you then that unless they cancel, they’re going to get charged the, whatever the price was, I think it was $100 for the product. That’s how we create a free trial subscription in Infusionsoft.
