Infusionsoft One Click Up Sell
I wanted to share with you a quick case study of an Infusionsoft one click upsell. And basically the client in question was very resistant to do one-click upsells, thinking they wouldn’t really work for her specific audience. And it’s literally taken me two years working with them to finally get them to try them.
One Click Upsell Converting At 36%
Now the client is selling a monthly subscription product and basically we want to try and up the customer value as quickly as possible when someone bought the product. With a subscription product, obviously it’s not a huge amount and if they drive in Facebook traffic and stuff like that to it. They’ve got to try and get that customer value as high as possible, as quick as possible so that the paid advertising works.

So we decided to test it at a price point for a one-click upsell, and this one click upsell is literally the person buys the product. The initial product purchase order is processed, then on the thank you page they get redirected to a one-time offer. This is the one click upsell.
And basically there’s a few ways of doing this.
You can either code it or use third-party software. For my specific example, I used Plus This to create the one-click upsell. And the process is basically a video and then underneath there is a button to say YES, I want to buy the one-click upsell, so the video tells a bit about what the product is, the one-click upsell, and then underneath the button there is a no thanks button, so we can see if they click the button seamlessly, the product gets added to their order so they don’t have to complete an order form again.
And if they don’t want it they just click the button below and it just goes through to the thank you page where they bought the original product.
73 Upsell Sales In 17 Days!
If we look in here, this product actually went live on the 13th of March. You can see in the last 30 days we have sold 73 products. Now 73, get my calculator and, 73 products at 6-7 is just under $5,000 with the products. If they buy the one-click upsell, they get processed, and if they don’t buy the one-click upsell then it’s basically, it goes into a decline.
So you can see here if we added those two figures together, we’ve got about two 210 people have gone through that particular sequence in the last, well today we’re on the last day of March. In 14, 15 days, 16 days, 17 days, just over two weeks buying that product.
We’re getting roughly a 33% conversion here because you added, 73 over 210, if you add those two together, we’re getting about 33% conversion on the one-click upsell. So over a month, the client is probably selling around 3, 400 products.
Can Add $70,000 Extra Profit Per Year
You can see here in two weeks, so about 300 products consistently every month. So they would be adding 101 clicks with the same conversion. That would be about another 6, $7,000 a month in extra income for just putting that in place.
That’s about $80 thousand, 70, 80 thousand in income just by putting that in place.
Now I know she’s absolutely kicking herself that she didn’t do this before. I wanted to show you the power of one-click upsells and. I’ll demonstrate what they can mean for your business in terms of profitability. And this is a real-life example, very recently done. The client was very resistant to trying this out in their own business. However, I wanted to share with you the results that they’ve got in the last 2 weeks.
