Tricks Using Infusionsoft
I love sharing these neat little tricks using Infusionsoft.
I guess if you’re like any “god-fearing” Infusionsoft user you’ll be using email pretty regularly in your campaigns.
Here’s one of the neat little tricks using Infusionsoft I discovered a couple of months ago purely by accident that helped me.
- Generate an extra $1253 worth of sales last month alone
- Takes about 10 minutes to set up
- Get’s your email readers to take some action
- It’s great for SEO (nothing black-hat I promise!)
- And it’s FREE too!
Tricks Using Infusionsoft
This strategy is stupid simple and I’ll outline it in simple to follow steps below:-
Step 1 – Create a new affiliate/referral account in Infusionsoft – this will be for you only and for use with this strategy. Maybe call the account Email Tracking or something.
Step 2 – Create a new tracking link for each email you intend sending out. Let’s say the email I want to track is called – you can name the link that (or whatever you can remember)
Step 3 – Try and shorten the email you were going to send out into 3-5 big benefits they will get if they read it…
Here’s an example… (sound familiar??)
Have a call to action link towards the bottom of the email with something like Interested in learning more? Click here
You want a call to action type wording to get them to click. You will redirect using your Infusionsoft affiliate link here.
Once the person clicks they will be tracked and redirected to your blog to read the rest of the article.
“Nothing too clever there Damian” I hear you say…
Let’s look a little bit at the subtle psychology here…
You tempted your reader to take action…a small commitment to click the link that would lead them to find out what you teased them within your email. (Read Robert Cialdini’s Book Influence for more about the psychology of this – one of my all-time favourite marketing reads!
They then visited your blog to read the rest of the article.
There’s a couple of things you can do now
On your blog have a couple of calls to action for related things.
Chances are if your article was good they click around some more. In fact, you should strongly encourage them to click around more in your article.
Google loves this – you’ll get a ton of Google brownie points as people are engaging with your site. (Side Note: We have seen a jump in our rankings and when we have looked at our Google Analytics our bounce rate has improved and out time on site is up – all-important ranking factors.
PLUS…you’re adding relevant content to your website (HINT – attracting highly motivated long-tail keyword searchers)
We have also found recently in our own tests they are opting into more stuff and buying things they may not have purchased if we hadn’t redirected them to a blog
Pixel them!!!
If you’re not “pixelling” your website visitors you are leaving a ton of money on the table for sure.
You can then serve re targeting Facebook ads (or use Google display ads too) that relate to that topic (they have already put their hands up to say they are interested in it)
That’s about it in a nut-shell.
Highly effective and really quick and simple to set up hope you enjoyed these tricks using Infusionsoft.
It’s a great way to start re-engaging your list and finding out what they are interested in too if you tag the links in Infusionsoft with an interest tag.
